Spring Fever

Today was the second day of warm sunshine here in Charleston, which has me all in spring fever mode! I decided to get off my butt today, for the first time since before the wedding, to go for a walk. I even walked Beau, so that was a feat within itself.

I haven't updated in so long, but thats only because nothing overly exciting has been happening to me. I've literally been going to dr's appointments and working, that is all. But I won't bore you with my Crohn's disease stuff b/c I am tired of talking about it and I don't want to sound all "complainey". Although, I will say this: My dr. is starting me on a new medication that may take up to 3 months to start working AND one of the major side effects is loss of hair! I don't want to sound vain, but I really really don't want to lose hair, ya know?



OOOOh, so Adam and I took Beau to the dog park on Sunday and guess who comes up to us? My MOTHER!!! OMG! I didn't know what to say or do! Also, she gave her old dogs to the pound, why would she be at a dog park? She was puppy sitting for someone. Luckily, she came up to us and was nice b/c she had a friend with her and then she quickly left after that. Crisis and drama avoided!



OK, time for a pop culture moment: First off, I'm sure if you're a women between the ages of 18-50, you watched "The Bachelor" season finale last week and you saw Jake pick Vienna. Honestly? Who names their child after a mini sausage? Even though I didn't care for Vienna and I liked Ali or Tenly better for him, I think he and Vienna are perfect for each other. He picked her b/c he went with his penis, er, I mean "heart", and she won the competition, which is what it seemed like that is all she cared about anyway.


Time for lunch! I still have lots to do today, but perhaps I won't wait so long in between my next posting! ciao for now!
